The winner is...

Gail Davis of Kent, UK officially won the App Store promotion (see post "Apple to offer $10,000 iTunes gift card to the person who downloads the ten billionth app!) by downloading Paper Glider as the 10 billionth app! She will receive a $10,000 iTunes gift card from Apple. It's really smart of Apple to do this, because they don't actually lose any money this way.
