The iPad 2 will only have a 1 megapixel camera.
Though many expected the iPad 2 to have a 5 megapixel rear camera like the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch, 9 to 5 Mac claims it has discovered evidence that the resolution of the rear camera on the iPad 2 will be a disappointing 1 megapixel. The front facing camera will have VGA quality (640x480) or about 0.3 megapixels. I'm very surprised about this considering that the iPad 2 will have a screen quality of 3 megapixels (see "How many pixels will the iPad 2 have?"). Another comment regarding the iPad 2 is that a Brazilian site named Blog do iPhone has claimed it will have a sensor that will let it lock or unlock upon opening or closing of its case.
