Think of walking barefoot in your lawn on a warm summer day with the grass cushioning every step you take, and pleasantly tickling the soles of your feet. Now, think of walking on pavement on a rainy day with work shoes on. Quite a difference, isn't it? Well, thanks to a new invention from
Kusa, your feet can always feel like they're in the former situation, even if you're really in the latter situation.
A few years ago, Krispy Kreme (no, that's not a typo!) created a pair of shoes very similar to these as part of a promotion. However, their shoes wore down almost instantly, because they used real grass. And as real as the grass on the picture to the left appears, it's actually a material called Syn-Turf
Syn-Turf is designed to feel exactly like real grass while keeping the color and feel of real grass even after repeated use.
Kusa's site says you'll need to fluff up the shoes occasionally because the Syn-Turf will get patted down. And as they put it on their info page, "DO NOT MOW."
