There are at least 25 iPhone cases with built-in batteries on the market, but those really aren't becoming a hit. Why? Well, they're really bulky, and they make the iPhone much heavier. But if you decide not to use one of these cases, as most people do, you're left with a battery that, like with most smartphones, doesn't last very long. So how can one get around this dilemma?
Well, Lloyd Gladstone and Jesse Pilner may have found the solution with their invention of the JuiceTank, and iPhone case that includes not a battery, but a wall charger. And unlike battery cases, this case is still quite thin, thanks to a revolutionary split-fold technology.
The two inventors are using Kickstarter in hope of raising $125,000 for their project by May 13. So far, they're doing pretty well, as $4,152 has been raised in less than a day. If you're one of the first 400 people to donate at least $40 to their fund (only 88 have done this as of now), you'll get a free JuiceTank limited edition before it comes out. Check out the video on the Kickstarter page, and if you really love it, make a little donation!
