Facial recognition accidentally takes away 1,000 drivers licenses every year...

An estimated 1,000 drivers get their drivers license taken away every year because the facial recognition system that 68% of states use thinks the picture is of a different person that looks similar to them so they determine that this one must be a fake because the names do not match. The other 32% of states are smart enough not to use the high-tech machines. For example, California also uses fingerprint scanners. But in states that do not use this, I wonder what happens to identical twins...
