Apple Genius Makes a Bonehead Move; Steals $16,000 in iPhones
You could say that one reason Apple is so successful is because of its design; its products, operating systems, stores, and even websites all just have an organized, clean, and crisp look. The Apple store shown above doesn't look much different; but then again, looks can be deceiving.
A "bona fide Apple employee", according to WBTV, spent 6 weeks stealing a total of 25 iPhones from the Genius Room, until he got caught. (not such a "Genius"...) He stole 22 16GB iPhone 4S's, as well as a 32GB 4S, a 64GB 4S, and an 8GB iPhone 4, which amounted to a $16,425 total retail price. The employee has yet to be caught, but according to the Charlotte Observer, he is a "known suspect."
